Many of our campsites are located in the centre of towns and villages listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites. In Provence, you can admire the famous Palace of the Popes and St-Bénézet Bridge from your pitch at the 4-star Camping du Pont d’Avignon campsite on the island of La Barthelasse.
In Auvergne, you can climb to the top of Saint-Michel d’Aiguilhe Rock when you stay at Camping du Puy-en-Velay. A little farther south in Brioude, visit the most beautiful and largest Romanesque church only a few kilometres from our Camping de la Bageasse campsite.
Return to source… Our campsites attach great significance to spirituality and a good number of them are on the road to Santiago de Compostela. Nevers, a town of Art and History, is home to the famous Bernadette Soubirous Centre and the magnificent Saint-Cyr and Sainte-Julitte cathedral.
Follow the trail of some of the Most Beautiful Villages in France: Curemonte, Turenne or Collonges-la-Rouge with its 3-star campsite. Explore the Dordogne Gorges and Valley, castles, perched town of Rocamadour, Padirac Chasm, etc. Just a few kilometres away in Corrèze, you can spend an enjoyable stay at Camping du Lac and step back in time when you visit Ventadour Castle and the unmissable Tours de Merle medieval site.
If there is one town in Ile-de-France that combines the full beauty of our historical heritage with the French art of living, then it must be Fontainebleau with its famous chateau and gardens, which are real jewels of the Renaissance era. Take advantage of your holiday at Camping Les Prés, only 10 minutes away, to visit the riches of this area!
